Cognitive Assessments

​I am able to offer cognitive assessments for children. The cognitive assessment I offer is called the Weschler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC-IV; WISC-V) or the Weschler Intelligence Scale for Adults (WAIS-IV).

 

The cognitive assessment usually takes place over 3 sessions. The first appointment will be 90 minutes and during this appointment I will ask you a series of questions and a developmental history and I will also explain how to prepare for the test. The second appointment is the test appointment and I allow up to 2 hours for this. The final appointment is the 45 minute feedback appointment. There is an additional charge for a report to be written.
